Entre les murs (The Class): 8/11/09
From blu-ray.com:
I'm pleased to see this getting a Blu-ray release. A fascinating examination of the frustrating, maddening, and only occasionally rewarding world of public school teaching. Though it takes place in France, I'm sure the experiences of Bégaudeau mirror those of his unheralded counterparts around the globe.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed that it will bring the movie 'The Class' (original French title Entre les murs) to Blu-ray on August 11. Technical specs haven't been disclosed, but you can expect a 1080p 2.35:1 AVC video encode with TrueHD audio.
'The Class' is the semi-autobiographical story of a literature teacher in an inner-city middle school in Paris. It won the Palme d'Or at last year's Cannes Film Festival.
