Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Got the card, called, no offer to split order with no additional shipping charge. Dave was adamant that to split and place another order for Casablanca with free shipping was not on the table.

I called and got the same stonewalling. I finally gave in to get all my other blus without waiting forever and I just don't want to waste any more time on this. It's not the money which isn't much and amounts to about .50 per item for me, it's the principle. They have handled this horribly and turned a good thing (their original offer) into a PR nightmare for themselves. It was avoidable.

I even told her that I had seen many customers online who said they'd gotten their orders split for no extra charge. She denied that had ever happened so basically she was calling many of you liars. I know she was just doing what she was told but what a great way to run a program.

I placed my order on 4/22.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I placed my order on 4/22 and they received my covers around 4/27. Still waiting on it because of Casablanca as many of you are. I wasn't offered but didn't ask for the split shipment when I received the cards yesterday. I can wait I guess. But here's the thing that pisses me off. Why is that on wbshop.com that Casablanca BD shows as "ships in 5 business days" when you add it to your cart? They better not have a separate stock of them for wbshop.com.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

The dumb part about my order (which they received 5/9) is that I only ordered Casablanca to trade it or sell it. I already own the BD set, so my whole order is being held because I was being greedy. Lesson learned.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

The only item I ordered is CASABLANCA! I got the post card yesterday. I can wait, as I still have the HD DVD disc in the meantime. I don't care about the trinkets and large box in the ultimate edition anyway, so if they end up sending a special disc only vesion in a regular case that's fine with me, actually I'd prefer it.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I got the postcard too so I called today. Looks like I am one of the lucky ones. My order was being held up by Planet Earth, but I got one of the copies they got this weekend so my whole order has been shipped! Sorry for those of you waiting on Casablanca!

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Well, I finally gave in waiting for PE so I just submitted a half a dozen, hopefully none of which are on the BO list. Batman Begins, HP:OOP, Departed, Happy Feet, Ult. Matrix (BO?), 300 (no UPC) and V for Vendetta.

Covers are halfway there in MI as of last Thursday after sending them out last Monday from CA. Hopefully I'll get a USPS update in the next day or so.

I did the same thing last week after giving up on PE. I had Ultimate Matrix in my order and it's already shipped so that shouldn't hold yours up.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Just spoke to Lisa at Customer Service. She said the only thing holding up my order was Casablanca. She offered to split up the order for $6.95 but I said no. She said they were hoping Casablanca would be back in-stock in 2-4 weeks, but I'm not holding my breath.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

So, I had Harry Potters, Matrix, and Planet Earth....why the hell hasn't mine shipped? No Casablanca for me...guess it's time for a 3rd call

UPDATE: The guy actually moved Matrix to another order for me! I've tried to do this 2 other times.

did he do it for free, or make you pay 6.95 again?

I haven't received my order yet, but over the phone they told me all of my covers were accepted and my order would be shipping soon. I guess I'll say it is YMMV, but it looks like mine went through...

The old, 'checks in the mail' routine? When red2blu CSR says to you, or emails you, 'your order will be shipping soon', my suggestion would be not to believe a single word of that. It's the stock red2blu response to most any question.

I've been told numerous times for my two orders, via email and phone, that my order would be shipping soon. Of course, every time it was not accurate information. Both my orders are still being held up by Matrix 10th, if not others (I have both Casablanca and Planet Earth on one order).

You know what would really suck? That when we do get our "split" orders, they'll be in one box and we'll be dinged the extra $6.95 shipping charge.
After all this wait and the extra $7, Casablanca better be the deluxe edition.

The Ultimate Edition is the only edition, correct?

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I ordered in the 2nd day of the launch. One of my orders included Planet Earth. I got two cards in the mail a few days ago for both of my orders. That's why it was so surprising to find a box with Planet Earth in front of my door today. A full two months later but it came

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Got the shipping notification today for my entire order sans Casablanca. That includes Planet Earth, Ultimate Matrix and 22 others, some of which had been out of stock multiple times. UPS is showing that they have it and it'll be delivered Friday.

Mine are set to arrive tomorrow... Less than two weeks for mine to have arrived after ordering.
