Got my package on Thursday, with no problems. They even took my Aussie Pan's Labyrinth...

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Ready to submit mine now, but the first name that I enter for the billing address keeps replacing the first name of the shipping address, which of course wouldn't be an issue unless they are two different people (which in my case, they are).

Anyone else have this problem?

Just a head's up for those swapping out Blade Runner.

My copy had Disc 1 labeled as Final Cut, but it is actually the Workprint on the disc... seems like there may be bad copies out there.

Sent in my HD DVD covers and they received it today. Matrix is part of the bundle (the entire box set). Now I just have to wait.

Well, I ran into a few problems, but I went ahead with it anyway. i figure best case scenario I get the BRs, worse case is I lost some covers. At this point I have my doubts about it ever coming to Canada, so I went ahead with my US friend..

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Well, I finally got a "your order has shipped" e-mail today. I guess it pays to call. The rep offered to split up the order and keep Casablanca and The Matrix in one order and ship out the rest. I didn't even have to ask.

Got my shipped email Monday but didn't have any of the BO titles in my list. Was about 2 weeks from shipping the covers to that order shipped email Monday.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

My two orders are now 9 and 7 weeks old. Last I called, I was assured that it was absolutely impossible for orders to be split, this from a so called supervisor.

I'm a bit cheesed off...

I've been told if my order doesn't ship by tomorrow I can call to get it split free of charge.

That sucks. You may be able to just call again and talk to someone else. They may not keep track of your calls.

Sent the labels on Saturday, they received it on tuesday and shipped discs (including matrix) today. Looks like I'll get the discs by tuesday. Awesome.

Are you talking about Matrix Ultimate Edition? I think the hold up with Matrix for most of us is the Matrix 10th Anniversary Edition...

To the poster above, I've called numerous times, and emailed...

Yeah matrix ultimate edition. I never knew/realized they sold Matrix standalone for HD DVD or offered it as a swap. I thought everyone was having grief over the ultimate edition.

They didnt. Warner is offering the trilogy or the Matrix. Catch is what you send for the trilogy is different from what you send for the first film, making it possible to get both with the purchase of only one set of HD DVDs.

They stopped offering The Matrix Digibook two months ago. Ultimate Matrix is the only option now...

So, still no Casablance UE available for the trade-up?

I've given up hope. They can't even fill their backorders, so why would they bring that back?

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I got my order split today for no extra charge. I asked when Casablanca would be able to ship and they said anywhere from 2-6 weeks. They said whenver it comes back in stock, it gets applied to orders so quickly that it immediately goes back into backorder status.

So now I can finally get Blu copies of movies I've owned in HD for years!

I call bullshit on that. When was the last time any of us here said they received Casablanca? 6 weeks ago???

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

My order was well under the 200th order accepted by red2blu and it included Casablanca and I've never received it. I did have Matrix 10th and Planet Earth and at least initially red2blu was not holding items while any title on your order was on back-order so it is likely that my copy of Casablanca, if there actually were any at all, went to someone who ordered after I did, while my order was being held up by either Planet Earth or Matrix 10th.

What a mess...

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I guess I could search the thread for answers to this question but I'm lazy and there's 20 pages... any recommendations on reprinting the covers? including "where" to print (kinkos, staples, etc. ... I lack a printer at home)

Planet Earth is back on the web site. Nice.
