I picked this up at Wal-Mart the other day cos it was $15 and the last copy. However I'm afraid to open it in case it's a crappy transfer like what happened to A History Of Violence (a bullet I managed to dodge).

I just want to know if the video is good or if it's a DNR nightmare like A History Of Violence or Dark City.

No, GizmoDVD. All I found was a bunch of links announcing that the BD was released but no reviews. If I'd found any I wouldn't have bothered making the thread.

I think Warner took a while to get around to sending review copies. DVD Talk just got its copy today. If it's sent my way, I'll try to have a review up A.S.A.P.

I Googled "Final Destination Blu-ray Review" and the very first link was to HighDefDigests' review from ten days ago and on the same Google page was links to 2 or 3 other BD reviews

Maybe he just searched for "Final Destination Blu-ray". It is always a good idea to add review to the title in Google searches. It helps a lot, RocShemp.

I picked FD up for $11.99 at Frys the first week it came out and I'm glad I did. Its not reference quality but its better than the DVD. Hopefully the rest of the films come out this year when part 4 hits theatres.
