Sweetness. Must complete the trilogy on BD. I didn't expect much from this one and wasn't pleasantly surprised how good it was.

Woo hoo!
Now if only we'd get an extended cut of Underworld: Evolution already.

I'll be getting this if it's cheap or wait until I can get it used. I thought it was a decent entry in the series, but not a lot to it - the second one is tops in my book.

Early look at the cover art here:

I watched a little of this online... looks decent enough to get tho I'm not expecting to like it as much as the first two.

I liked this one way better than the second. Although Derek Jacobi and Tony Curran were both missed, this had the best acting in the series thanks to Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy getting to take center stage.
The only thing that bothered me (and this is really just an aesthetic thing) is that the scant few daylight scenes were also completely tinged blue. This made them indistinguishable from all the nighttime scenes. I was expecting the golden tinge briefly seen in Underworld: Evolution. It would have been a great way to contrast the small bit of freedom Lycans have that the Vampires do not share.
I'm not too fond of that cover art. I was hoping for one of the onesheets (like the one of Viktor seated on his throne) instead of the two promo shots of Rhona Mitra and Michael Sheen photoshopped into a cover.

I agree, the second one was the best IMO. "Lycans" was a worthy entry though in the series. My only gripe with the film, several of the action scenes were shot too close, and edited too fast. But overall, it was a fun film. Terrible BD cover though.
