It's not that the seasons are numbered as such, it is just for the DVD releases....Sci-Fi broke up the airing of seasons 2, 3, and 4 into two halves, then Universal released them funky by waiting to release season 3 all at once, but dividing up the even numbered seasons....

So I assume this will not contain The Plan since they have pushed that back to November? That sucks - so much for a complete BSG set on Blu-ray. Technically I suppose you get the television series, but it would be nice to be done with it so to speak.

Maybe they could at least leave an empty slot in the complete series, so one could buy that now and The Plan later and integrate them? Doubt that would happen, but Id be happy with that.

Me too, can't wait for the official announcement of this one....too bad about THE PLAN, but since it was pushed back until November, I'd rather get the series now and re-enjoy watching the whole thing and then spring for the additional disc later, rather than having to wait until December or something...

Just got $200 from the parents yesterday for my birthday that I am specifically holding onto for this set!

Quite a chunk of change (not that I wasn't expecting it)...I'm wondering if the $349.98 is the actual "official list price" from Universal, and if so, will Amazon increase their discount percentage to at least 40% off.....was looking for something closer to two bills personally....

I'm OK with the price. I got $150 for all my DVD's (minus 4.5), so basically it's a $100 upgrade to Blu-ray minus what it would have cost me to get 4.5 on DVD. I can live with that.

Yeah as a blind buy it's pretty risky. I'm thinking this will come down closer to $200 as release day sales are more apparent.

I hope your right. $200 sounds better than $250. At least then it's $50 a season. I already purchased these on DVD and this set just seems so expensive... but I'd much rather own it on Blu-ray.

Whew, thats a lot more than I wanted to pay. I sold my SD sets in prep for this, but I'm going to wait for a random sale. Even the DVD set is high, compared to other Universal sets I have; Hulk, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, etc.

Even $200 is a lot for a four season series. I was hoping for a $200 MSRP. I'll wait until it drops under $150.

Hopefully they won't screw up the packaging.
