Weird alteration of the classic onesheet.
Anyhoo, will this include the TC and the DC?

Re: Army of Darkness: May 19th
I am unemployed so ANY BD, DVD or CD purchases I make are preceded by weeks of contemplating whether or not I should (or can) take the plunge. But when I post comments about whether or not I'll be picking up a given title, its usually as if I'm still employed and have the usual cash flow coming in that I used to (which wasn't that much anyway, but it was something).
With that said, I will probably hold off on Army of Darkness until it either drops in price or a superior release becomes available. I have the Limited Edition DVD so I'm perfectly happy for now.

Thanks for the thorough review, Adam. I guess I'm sticking with my Limited Edition DVD and R3 DVD for the Director's Cut.

^ I think Adam's review mentioned that there were some subtle differences. In either case, I'm on my third copy of Army of Darkness (including an unopened HD DVD copy) so I'm ok without the new BD as well.

There's been some automated cleanup on the Blu-ray version, but the master's the same. Some of the speckling from the HD DVD has been wiped away, the image looks very faintly sharper, and there's more noise reduction. It's not a meaningful difference, in my opinion.

Thanks guys!
I was curious whether to spend the $5 on the HD-DVD or $15-20 on the Blu-Ray. I already have the "Boomstick Edition" on DVD and I'm still in the market for the R3.
