Well, i bit... picked this up. Plan on watching it tomorrow. It should be known, I've never read the graphic novel and have not yet seen the new film. So this will be my first exposure to the story.

I've watched the first 4 chapters so far, and I'm really enjoying it. It's been years since I read the book, and this is a great way to experience it again.

I've watched Chapters 1-3. I'm really into the story. Can't wait to see the film afterwards.

Is there noticeable difference between the SD and the Blu version of The Watchmen - Motion Comic? I'm definitely picking this up but am wondering if it's Blu worthy...

I can't say for sure, but the colours on the blu-ray are fantastic and I imagine they wouldn't be as great on the SD... I can't speak to where you live, but up here the blu-ray was only $2 more than the SD DVD, so it was a no brainer.

The blu-ray has more extras. There's a Watchmen Production Diary and BD-Live features. There's also a Digital Copy. And it's all on 1 disc. The DVD is spread across 2 discs.

^True but the production diary is readily available online (it's only 1 chapter from that, so 4 minutes) and the BD-Live feature sucked - the prison scene presented so damn small as to not really care - plus the digital copy is wma, so for 90% of people = useless. So those are hardly selling points IMO, but having it all on 1 disc with better sound and resolution should be enough for most to justify the extra coin.

Alright, I'm sold. I will be buying this. Thanks, I wasn't aware of the little difference in price. Good to hear.

Just wanted to toss out this information to all who are interested.

If you bought this at Best Buy the original price was 29.99 for the 2 disc Blu-ray version. As of today, March 24th the price for the Blu-ray version is 24.99. It hasn't been a month yet so if you still have your receipt then you can go and get the price adjusted...
