Best HD-DVD Player?
(I searched and didn't find anything along these lines.)
Considering there's a large list of HD-DVD titles and that they're going for anywhere between $3.99 and $9.99 (compared to $19.99 and up for their Blu-Ray counterparts), what's the "best" HD-DVD player you can pick up (albeit from eBay)?
Fry's has the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player with BSG S1*, Heroes S1 and King Kong for $49.99 right now. I don't have an Xbox 360, but you can easily hook it to a Vista computer. What was the last good stand-alone player? And remind me, HD-DVD does do 1080p, right? Or did most releases top out at 1080i?
Thanks.
* And I am aware of the issues with the BSG S1 release.

There's also the Onkyo equivalent of the XA2. I just don't remember what it was called.
I have an A2. Although it's only 1080i, it's a solid player. And I much preffer its build quality to the equivalent A3.
