Is anybody else hyped about this?

Im a HUGE Cure fan, and when I learned of the blu-ray treatment of this great concert in full DTS-HD MA 5.1 glory I was ecstatic!

The Blu-Ray.com Review of it left me impatient as heck. The highest marks on audio and video, the perfect package!

Wow, this is tres cool.

I am very surprised by this and will be picking it up on day 1.

Next up, I'd love to see Stop Making Sense at 1080p will lossless audio!

Agreed! That review left me foaming at the mouth. And the reviewer said he felt this was the best live concert video he's seen along with Depeche Mode's "One Night in Paris". So he's alright by me in my book. Let's get that concert on DVD soon!

I rented this a couple of years ago and then only convinced myself not to buy it because I was seriously cutting back at the time. It's going to be very tough not to be tempted into it on Blu-ray.

looks great, sounds great

I always maintained the "Disintigration" portion of this is worth the price alone

too bad the Blu can't bring players like Porl back for this (though Perry and the other boys do a workman like job)

only disappointment is the packaging is not up to the level of the perfomance
oh and I liked the original dvd menu presentation better (minor nitpick)

Trilogy is one of my favorite concert films. The crowd, stage design, sound, music selection and the performances are all about perfect. I can even live with Robert Smith's shambling, fat, middle-aged goth appearance. He's a surprisingly large person, is he about 6'3"? He's also one hell of an underrated guitarist, as this concert makes clear. He shows a formidible array of amazing guitars in this concert, the man is quite a collector.

I rented the SD-DVD since Netflix did not have it in Blu-Ray tonight. My wife and I loved enough that I just purchased it from amazon. They were so good in 2000 for their Blood Flowers show!
