Having read your post, yeah, like everyone else agrees it sounds like you have the silly 120hz Motion Plus turned on. But when I read the title of the thread, what came to mind is the other major factor that makes me think Blu-Ray looks weird or artificial is when the colors are cranked too "hot", with orange skin and burning whites. Certainly the TV has some play in this, but I often worry that certain movies on BD are gonna look like that.
