Comedy Central going HD

Re: Comedy Central going HD
That's all well and good, but I'll have to see how long it takes Comcast to add the HD channel to its lineup. They're not always so quick on the draw.

Re: Comedy Central going HD
I just hope that "upconverting" doesn't mean stretch-o-vision.

Re: Comedy Central going HD
About damn time, as long as it's not a stretched 4x3 image. We also need Spike and FX in HD. Nip/Tuck screams for it.

And what's up with TNT and TBS showing movies that are both stretched 4x3 and
16x9???? |
Re: Comedy Central going HD
Got both FX and Spike in HD on Comcast here in Baltimore County, MD. I think they were added last month.

Initially , Comedy will be upconverting mainstays The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report, with the expectation of the two programs going fully native HD in the future, most likely in 2010 |
