Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced the technical specs and special features for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Rounders: 10th Anniversary Edition', which is due to hit store shelves on April 14th. Video will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p AVC accompanied by a 24-bit 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

Extras for this release include:

This is a pretty great movie that seems to fly under the radar. I never got the special edition DVD, so I will probably pick this up. I'm curious to hear the pro poker player commentary.

I don't even like poker, but I love this movie for some reason.

Being an avid poker player, I really enjoyed this movie... Although, I hate it when I have to hear it live at the tables... ugh! I will definitely be picking this one up!

I spotted this on TV once some years ago (not HD obviously), for the right price i'll pick it up!

Why? That's the original poster from it's run in theatre's, and besides from John M. looking nothing like what Teddy KGB does, I love it. I wish they kept the deck of cards design from the SE though, but no biggie.

This will be a first day purchase for me.

While I generally prefer original poster art to bad photoshop jobs, that original poster was never good, in my opinion. It's not that big of a deal...lots of poster art and cover art stinks these days.

I thought the packaging said 1080p... but I haven't been paying that much attention.

LOL, how is them taking the summer off any different than any other part of this year? Just pathetic on the catalog front right now.

How is Disney "taking the summer off" when Sling Blade is coming out on August 4th? And that is also the date Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown are supposed to be released on as well....granted, Disney's still very slow overall with catalog titles, but still, it is something....

Saw this in the theatre and enjoyed it. The BD is cheap but don't know how much replay value it has for me though.

I find it to be one of those quotable movies. Tonight is the family's monthly poker game, and practically every month somebody is quoting it or imitating Malkovich.
