Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd comedy 'Role Models' to Blu-ray on March 10th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Video will be presented in 1080p VC-1 accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. The disc will also feature both the theatrical and unrated cuts of the film.

Excellent. It sounds a little light on making-of and B-roll, but I'm excited. I saw this movie several times (mostly at dollar theaters) with various friends and it got funnier every time.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't one of my favorite comedies of the year. Pass.

Enjoyed this quite a bit, so this will be a purchase for me.

They just couldn't fit the two featurettes on the 50GB disc? Lame.

This was probably my favorite comedy of last year right next to Pineapple Express. Day One purchase from me. I can't wait to see the unrated cut.

No idea, but then again, even if it did it will probably be a Digital Copy.

Getting really tired of studios throwing up content on their servers forcing us to wait several minutes to login (making sure to register first!) and several more to download only to be hit with numerous advertisements. Didn't we want BD to win for more disc space? Forcing this crap is getting on my nerves.

Definite buy for me, really liked this one. I can't imagine what could be added to the unrated cut though. There was already nudity and swearing, maybe they'll add digital blood to the medeival battles? Looking forward to this release.

Oh nevermind, I didn't catch that those features were downloadable. For some reason I thought you meant they were on another disc. Sorry.

But yeah I agree, I don't care for the downloadable stuff.

Still not seen this. I might hold off for the BR then, go see Frost/Nixon instead.

I highly recommend anyone that checks out the disc to watch the deleted and alternate scenes. Nearly all of the alternate scenes are better than what was in the theatrical version. There's alternate scenes of the Chuck E Cheese place with Karen from The Office in it.

The unrated version is 3 minutes longer and none of those 3 minutes are terribly funny, but definitely check out all the deleted scenes. There's also a nice pair of tits in one of the deleted scenes.
