Question about Line on the screen

Hi. I've noticed with my HDTV some channels in HD have a white distinct line on the left hand portion of the screen. I have my screen at Full Pixel and when i choose normal the line goes away but I lose picture on all sides of the screen.

Channels I have this problem are on Palladia, TBS, and TNT as a few. Is it just the channel's problem or is it because of my HDTV as sometimes it is really annoying.

Thanks for the help.

It's the channels, not your TV. Many stations have that. Most TVs have overscan, which covers up the lines. When you put your TV in full pixel mode, it disables the overscan so you see the lines.
