Falling Down Digibook May 26 2009

It's probably getting a digibook because it'll be loaded disc.
Last I heard they were gonna do a 15th Anniversary release this year. Apparently Michael Douglas stemmed a renewed interest in the film WBs part by approaching them regarding an SE and recorded a commentary.
Now I hope this gets an SD-DVD release as well; I'm still pissed and WB for not releasing a remastered Road Warrior with the director commentary.

This one has been playing in HD on my FiOS TV. Looks great, Blu-ray will only look better. Very watchable film.

Special features seem cool, even if it's not very loaded. I wouldn't expect much features-wise from this film anyways. I just hope they have a trailer included.

If it wasn't getting a new DVD too, I'd be surprised about the features.
It doesn't seem like enough to warrant a digibook, but it's much better than Poltergeist got.

I love this movie. I will get the blurray though I wonder how Douglas would be, boring, energetic? Ive never heard him do a commentary.

I like Digibooks. If my options are a generic little blue case or a cool hardcover book with some production notes and behind-the-scenes photos count me in for the latter.

Dang. That digibook looks sweet. I wasn't planning on getting this, but now I'm tempted to revisit the movie and see if I like it enough to own it.

Only problem is, if you crack the hub, you can't just replace the case. That's been my biggest gripe since the dawn of digi-pak CDs.

This should be a no-brainer double dip if you like the movie. The DVD is over 10 years old, and those generally don't hold up well now. It's even rumored that it's "fake" anamorphic (as in, the source was non-anamorphic and they upscaled it to anamorphic resolution).

This will be my first Digibook. Can't wait to get this. Watched the DVD a few weeks ago and it was pretty crappy.
