i was reading the insert and it was depressing to find out BCI had 15 more shaw brothers blu-rays planned. sucks they could only get 1 released before going out of business

Wow, those caps looks sharp. I'm def ordering a copy.

Do you know if the Sonny Chiba double feature is worth buying on BD? I see they have it for $12.99.

i'm not sure about the a/v quality on the blu-ray but i own shogun's ninja on dvd and it has some interesting parts but i don't recall chiba being in the film that much.

looks like there's some subtitle display issues and the transfer isn't that great

Mine's on order along with Chocolate. I can't wait to watch them both.

It's too bad that BCI only released the SD version of Life Gamble and they never bothered to release the Blu-ray verson before they went out of business.
