Re: The Last Blu-ray or HD-DVD you Bought (Round 2)
Just got a PS3 for my b-day Sunday, so I'm just getting started.
Ordered:
Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy (only really enjoy the first but I knew the set had no framing errors and I figure that the sequels were all about the spectacle anyway so they'll look good)
Nightmare Before Christmas
Planet Earth (sent my HD-DVD cover off to Red2Blu, so I imagine I'll see this in about a year)
Bought:
40 Year Old Virgin (I wanted the theatrical cut but I didn't want two DVDs)
Batman
Evil Dead II (a good 15 bucks cheaper than the standard deluxe set thanks to some sales)
First Blood
Mad Men Season 1
Serenity
The Untouchables

Barnes and Noble was having a 50% off sale, and I get the member discount, so I ordered the Seventh Seal. I was going to get the 400 Blows as well, but I saw that it was available at my local store so I ordered the standard Fanny and Alexander set as well. I'll probably snag 400 Blows this weekend.

My town is having Crazy Days this weekend so I went to Blockbuster and found a decent deal. Buy 2 Get 1 Free so I picked up Friday the 13th Killer Cut, Revolutionary Road, and Valkyrie for a total of like $32 and some change so I thought that was decent enough.
