I was so F'n close to buying these (& part 1) at Best Buy today with a $20 GC b/c I want then in HD so bad, but I resisted again, in hopes of a box set which I would rather have.

The Dark Knight was my first BD, and I also did not have a player at the time. Bought the title in anticipation of purchasing a player. Funny thing is, I've had the player for 4 months now and have yet to watch TDK. Have not seen it since originally watched it in-theater. Go figure.My latest:

Yeah I was hesitant to get into buying Blu because of price, but there are some good deals to be had for brand new discs. The only ones that I wouldn't consider "good" deals are The Simpsons Movie (I just wanted to get it) and Pineapple Express (again, just wanted to get it).
Must say though, I'm glad I ended up getting a PS3 and have enjoyed the video quality thus far. I don't anticipate my Blu-ray collection will be nearly as large as my DVD collection, but I'm also trying to just buy Blus that I consider worthy of HD treatment (Pixar Movies, Action/Adventure Movies, etc.)
