Batman Begins Blu - Help!

I just recently purchased the Sony- Blu-ray Disc Player with 1080p Output
Model: BDP-S350 and bought the Batman Begins disc as well.

I was trying to watch the "In-Movie Experience" and although I can get the pop-up window to show up, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch over and listen to the pop-up audio. I sat for an hour working on this. Is this feature not compatible with certain players? I am new to this whole Blu-Ray thing and pretty confused on some of the features.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you.

I have the same player and the same thing happened to me with Transformers. I didn't think much of it at the moment though. I'd get the pop-up commentary windows, but only heard the movie audio. So I think this is more of a player issue. I also have Batman Begins, but have yet to even open it.

That was before I upgraded the firmware though. I haven't tried it since.

I just posted the question HERE

Change the BD Audio Setting to "Mix". This allows you to listen to the picture-in-picture audio (secondary audio). The movie's audio will output Dolby Digital 5.1 while the PIP is playing.

"Mix" also allows the player to decode the lossless audio and will cause your receiver to output multi-channel PCM. If you set BD Audio to "Direct", the player bitstreams the lossless audio and your receiver will decode. All assuming you have a receiver capable of handling lossless audio.

Guess I'm just still used to DVDs where the audio commentary track on top of the movie audio is all one track. I never considered the BR player could output two separate audio tracks at the same time.

Looks like I still have so much to learn about BR.

Thanks a TON Mr. Cinema I really appreciate your help. I will try it tonight once I get home from work. When I first connected the player, I had some audio problems - it was the strangest thing - my standard DVDs sounded great but the Blu Ray discs sounded extremely low. Luckily my cousin installs home theaters for a living (he installed mine) and he walked me through the audio options over the phone and everything is now ok. However, I really hope I am hearing the best possible quality audio through my system, but I have not had a chance to test it yet.

I'm completely in the same boat as you, Snowmaker. Don't understand many of the features like the BD Live and especially the audio. Maybe we'll run into each other again on these forums.

I'm not even going to hook up and attempt BD Live. At least not any time soon.
