Pride and Glory jan. 27...

Blu-ray.com


New Line Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video have announced that it will bring the Edward Norton and Colin Farrell film 'Pride and Glory' to Blu-ray on January 27th, day-and-date with the DVD release. No technical specs have been announced at this time, though you can expect the typical 1080p VC-1 and a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

Extras for this release include "Source of Glory: The Making of Pride and Glory" and a digital copy of the film.

New Line Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video have announced the technical specs and special features for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Pride and Glory', which is due to hit store shelves on January 27th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Coming on a BD-25, video will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p VC-1 accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

The sole extra for this release is a documentary called "Source of Pride: The Making of 'Pride and Glory'".

Does anyone know why Colin Farrell was completely absent from the "Source of Pride" doc on this disc?

It was bizarre - even scenes he was in it was like they cut around him and never showed his face.

There was friction between Gavin O'Connor, Edward Norton and Jon Voight but they all appeared on the doc - was Colin just that pissed off and refused to do it?

Does Norton get along with anyone? Didn't the same thing happen with the Italian Job extras?

Yeah, I noticed this as well... Even Norton participated in interviews and was semi-honest with his concerns about the story/screenplay (don't blame him since they were still coming up with the ending while filming).

Damn, that extra stuff sounds interesting - I hated the movie so much I returned it the minute I was done watching it, but if I had known there was some 'troubled production' dirt in the features, I may have watched them.
