Appaloosa Announced for Blu-ray Jan 13th

New Line Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video have announced that they will bring the Ed Harris film 'Appaloosa' to Blu-ray on January 13th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Coming on a BD-25, video will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p VC-1 accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

Extras for this release include:

*Commentary by Director Ed Harris and Screenwriter/Producer Robert Knott
*Additional Scenes with Selectable Ed Harris/ Robert Knott Commentary [in High Definition]
*Corral of 4 Insightful Featurettes:
*Bringing the Characters of Appaloosa to Life;
*Historic Accuracy of Appaloosa;
*The Town of Appaloosa;
*Dean Semlers Return to the Western

I somehow managed to miss this one theatrically, but was really looking forward to it, so I'll have to rent this at least!

One of my favorite films of the year (despite my intense hatred for Renee Zelwegger, who was the only bad part of the movie). Can't wait for this one.

This movie started soo strongly for me, but then dragged on forever with little happening.

I missed this one in theaters. It didn't even last more than a week here in Puerto Rico (that crapfest Talento De Barrio destroyed it instantly when it was released) so I never got a chance to see it. This iwll be a day one blind buy for me.
