Closed Blu-ray thread
I had a thread where i simply raised a question in regards to, is there really a need for another form of DVD??("Blu-Ray")
All i ask is that you question why its released and i even supported "Blu-Ray" if the prices came down and the thread was closed, what gives???

Blu-ray is not DVD....
Not even close.
I love that fact so much. People can't borrow my movies unless they have a BD player so I can't lose them. Best feature ever.
Not the eye popping 1080p picture that stomps out DVD's 480p image and absolutely thrashes VHS's 240i.
Not the incredible sound that can be anywhere from 640kbs Dolby Digital to lossless dts HD Master Audio.
Not even the nice as pie pop up menu so I don't stop the movie to cycle through the myriad of subtitle and language tracks.
Nope. Its the fact that since this is not DVD but a different type of disc entirely that I love it. Yay! No more lost discs. I got to say it one more time. Yay, yay, yay! Not one more lost disc.
