They also dropped extras and/or made them only accessible with U-Control.

Dropping the extras or condensing them into the U-Control, and the added DNR all seem to have been done with those releases in an effort to shrink file sizes and cram everything onto BD25s, though. If "Serenity" truly is getting a BD50, that should be plenty of room to spread stuff out.

Cover art added to OP. I'm glad they used the artwork from the 2-disc dvd.

That cover pretty much seals it - I'll be upgrading my HD DVD. I'm a real sucker for that artwork.

Agreed. I am glad I never grabbed the SE DVD version. Making this only a triple-dip for me
