Got Bender's Game at Fry's. They didn't have any of the POTA releases in their system or on the shelf. They're not on their site either.

Was able to get the first one at Target so that'll have to do. Target didn't seem to have Bender's Game.

Now the Amazon POTA page says Usually ships within 6 to 11 days.

At least Caligula came today; even with the Amazon exclusive & all, I had some doubts last week that it would ship.

I want Bender's Game and Transsiberian, but unfortunately cannot spend the money on these items this week.

The kicker is, all the POTA sequels are in stock on Blu. Only the box set and the first one are not in stock. I pre-ordered as soon as the item was listed, so it shouldn't have been an issue of them running out of stock before my order got fulfilled.

Lame... one good thing, those sequels have 'buy 2 get 1 free' written all over them lol.

Transsiberian for me.

Maybe the Planet of the Apes collection much later, or I'll just get the first film.

I have to admit I broke down and bought Transsiberian and The Final Countdown from Amazon. 19.95 was too good to pass up on Transsiberian, and once I read it was from the director of The Machinist I had to blind buy it.

Also forgot about Blue Man Group - that's on its way too.

So much for restraint this week.

Seriously, people.

Get Smart on Blu-Ray? Really?

I'm a fan of both the TV show AND Steve Carell, and I still don't get why you need this forever and ever in hi-def.

I love you guys, but really, times are tough. Save that cash!

You could say that about any comedy, or almost any movie really.

One person's rental is another's in-the-player-all-the time disc.

Sounds good.

Yeah, I've got my share of questionables in my collection too.

I just love busting balls.

If you approve my past puchases of Jaws the Revenge and Superman IV (it was part of a box-set, I swear!) on DVD.
