Virus Blu Ray. Shout Factory blu of Virus. Based on a comic book mini-series, and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, but I have seen on-line where she trashes the film, which makes me sad.
It looks great on blu, and I believe this is a fan-fave film. It is just fun to watch with lots of action and however unrealistic it is, it is entertaining in its own odd way. It also contains a surprising amount of gore (I had forgotten how much gore was in this film as it has been forever since I last saw the film). Almost forgot, it also stars Donald Sutherland. Great cast, plenty of action, just a fun way to kill about 2 hours of time.
Also, before Virus I watched Dragonslayer, and a heads up that there is now a regular 4K (non-Steelbook) available for purchase as the Steelbook is technically OOP (but some folks on that other blu ray site have seen copies of the Steelbook at places like BB, so grab a copy while you can if you collect nicely put together Steelbooks). I am not sure if the issue with the Digital Copy insert accidentally being left out of most of the Steelbook copies has been fixed, but if not a fairly quick and painless outreach to Paramount Customer Service will get you a digital code to redeem.

My 15 yo has always like anime but hadn't seen Akira yet and asked to see it so we watched last night and there's so much going on in that movie, it truly is one of the greats.
