Thor - great audio and picture onthis one.

Iron Man - some shots are a tad soft and the audio was far mor timid than I remembered.

Thor - This might be one of the loudest BDs I own. Shook the shit out of my place. Not a great film, but damn fun and entertaining.

X-Men: First Class - Loved it just as much the second time. Fassbender owns the film.

re: Last BD (or, unrealistically, HD DVD) you watched?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I - Fun flick until Ron and Harry have their break-up until they make up sequence. At that point all urgency is sucked right out of the film and it becomes a total bore. Hopefully the second part is more consistent.

Audio was pretty darn good. Video was iffy. Since it was so hazy and dim, it's sometimes not fun to watch.

X-Men: First Class - Lots of fun and easily the best X-Men movie.

Fantastic audio. The video is a mixed bag because there are a lot of focus pull errors (particulalry in the wide shots). But that's more a source issue.

Scarface - Excellent upgrade from the DVD.

Bridesmaids - Painfully unfunny at times, hilarious at others. Easily could have had 20-30 min trimmed off.

Magnificent Seven - Looks solid in HD. What a fucking cast!

The Art of Flight

My new reference disc, looks absolutely stunning and sounds phenomenal as well (music). Snowboarding doc (kind of), content was a little weak in spots and these guys should never have been allowed to narrarate anything, they obviously didn't have a script and their comments are downright cringe enducing, but still amazing to look at and hear.

Transformers Dark Of The Moon A little long but much better than the second one. Because the Transformers were well after my time, the orgy of fighting in the second one was tough to follow. Didn't know who was good and who was bad. Some nice twists and turns in this one

Long Kiss Goodnight Always liked this movie. Love the HD presentation
