You said it. It's just too bad that those movies were soooooo good that the other movies of his I've watched have paled in comparison.

Rulers of the City was actually pretty decent, albeit a lot more "light-hearted" than his previous gangster movies. Jack Palance was good, but the tone of the movie wasn't nearly as serious as his previous movies.

Naked Violence was not that good. About a bunch of students that seemingly rape and murder their teacher, but each one denies it and basically blames their classmates. Not that good of a movie.

Slaughter Hotel. Okay, this one was borderline porn, at times. Just a horrible movie. The script was terrible. I love slasher movies, but this one was just brutal.

I still have two more di Leo movies to watch, and I'm hoping they're better than these last three...

The transfer does not look that good on a 64" TV

RIP Corey Haim. Kerri Green was quite a cutie back then.

One of the weaker entries but I already have the other films in the franchise in 4K. Nice the extras were on the 4K disc. BDH seems to be getting a little chunky. In the of the extras, they have one of those round table discussions and she looks like she could be portly if she wasn't careful. The video and audio in 4K were stunning as you would expect. I did not pop in the BR for an A/B comparison.

I thought it would be horrible but it had some good laughs however I was offended by the abundance of people wearing Seahawks jerseys.

It was not that bad and still better than Jurassic Park 3 but not as good as Jurassic World.

Knowing. This Nicolas Cage movie seemed to split people. Either you loved it, or you hated it (I know Roger Ebert was a big fan of it). For what it's worth, I thought it was actually really good. A decent sci-fi story, and Cage was terrific in it, as was Rose Byrne, in one of her early roles. I just thought the storyline was pretty solid. An enjoyable two hours...Would recommend to Cage fans...

Righteous Kill. You know, I heard a ton of shit about this movie, and I put off watching it for years. I finally sat down and watched it and you know what? It's not that bad. It's actually a decent movie. Not sure why everyone crapped all over this movie...Probably just because when De Niro and Pacino are in the same movie, you expect it to be epic. Instead, it was merely a good movie. But I don't regret watching it. It was seriously an okay movie. Would recommend that people watch this at least once.

It was not their best collaboration but better than crap like Hangman and Dirty Grandpa.

It was pretty good and Offerman was great in this

Surprisingly, I actually didn't hate Dirty Grandpa (mainly cause of Zac Efron, who I've grown to like). The Meet the Parents movies he did, on the other hand, I hated. I'm hoping that The Irishman turns out to be good. Having him, Pacino, Pesci, Keitel, etc., and directed by Scorsese, I'm hoping that's great.

That will be like a Star Wars movie for mob movie fans.

I admire the real life people this movie is based on but the movie was average.

Woodley is no Saorise Ronan when it comes to acting.

Still like this better than the sequel though some of the 1995 CGI effects might be dated.

Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions. Can't say I'm a giant fan of Clive Barker's movies, even though the one I do enjoy quite a bit is Nightbreed, but this one wasn't bad. It was okay. Famke Janssen was good. Kevin O'Connor was good. Didn't think Bakula was that great. It was also kind of interesting seeing the actor who played Kruger in "Seinfeld" play a big part in this. As per usual, lots of crazily gory scenes, some of which are stomach-churning. There's one neat twist around the midway point, but overall I wouldn't recommend buying. Maybe check it out if it's on TV (but keep in mind, I watched the Director's Cut that Scream Factory released, so I'm not sure how it compares to the Theatrical, which is also included in the Special Edition).

The male lead looks like a young Richard Gere.

It looks like Kate Beckinsale had some work done and if she did what a shame.

re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?

In spite of all the action happening this movie just didn't grab me as exciting. I guess I didn't connect very well with the characters except for Woody Harrelson.

The 4K didn't do much for me. It was a rental so I had no BR to compare it to, but so much of the movie takes place in darkened places it is tough to really let the resolution shine. The entire film had a muted tone. Not a good showpiece for 4K
