Polar Express Fired up the HD player for the Tom Hanks show

Surviving Christmas Intellectually I know it's a lousy movie. Somehow I seem to return to it every Christmas.

Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation

I know a lot of people like it but I am not a huge fan of the franchise

Ant-Man. It was ok but not great. I will keep the Blu-ray I bought from Best Buy.

Christmas present from my wife, but I did see it in the theater. For as flawed as it is, I really enjoy Chris Pratt and his dynamic with Bryce Dallas Howard.

The Perfect Guy (2015) -- Pretty by the numbers thriller that would probably air on Lifetime. But watchable mainly for Sanaa Lathan.

Hitman: Agent 47 (2015) -- Reboot based on the video game series. Wasn't as horrible as the 1st movie. Some decent kills and action.

The Martian (2015) -- My video store put this out early. Really enjoyed it. Good science fiction adventure. How again was this nominated for Best Comedy or Musical at the Golden Globes?

Heist (2015) -- For a B action/caper movie, this was actually quite entertaining. Mainly highlighted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Surprised at the cast they got for this. De Niro, Morris Chestnut, Kate Boseworth, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Morgan. It's certainly an above average cast for a straight to video action movie.

Fantastic Four (2015) -- This got horrible reviews and barely broke even in the theaters this past summer, but I had to see it for myself. All I can say is it was an unnecessary and poorly cast reboot. The casting kills this movie for the most part. Teller is horrble as Reed Richards. Jamie Bell is so miscast as Ben Grimm. They tried to fix something that wasn't broken. They waited too long to make it when they could have probably done 2 more movies with the previous cast, who IMO were decent.

I think I saw that a couple of years ago. I would buy that just for the artwork.

All the Fantastic Four movies sucked and they should avoid that franchise.

A Walk in the Woods.

Pretty funny though I thought it would be more of a drama.
