rented Epic last night and wow, I liked it a lot more than I had thought I would - I thought all the elements: story, characters, character design, 3D, music, sound design worked seemlessly.

Eddie the Sleepwalking Cannibal was somewhat generic and a little bit draggy, and way too low on the gore considering the premise. It isn't a film trying to leave it to the imagination, but the little bits it shows are wholly unrealistic to the point of being outright silly. Great premise (the Eddie character and his "issue," not so much the art school bullshit), but piss poor execution.

Kiss of the Damned.... my eyes rolled back to the point the stems were tickling my eyelashes. Was a very awkward feeling.

Bullet to the Head. Awkward to non-existent chemistry for a film with an awkward to non-existent plot. The action is spread a little sparse, the dialogue either goes through the mundane motions or hits cheesily hilarious one liners.
