Les Miserables

Just wished all theses actors were in a movie that was not a Musical.

Nine Months An older but fun rom-com. For $5 a good upgrade. One of the funniest delivery room scenes on film.

Warm Heart. The whole family loved it. Zombie and Romance, little bit for everyone.

Pretty good flick....especially when I found out Donnie had to learn the actual style of fighting and the actor who played the General didn't know a thing about martial arts.

Cleopatra (1963) - the image and the audio is top notch. too bad the movie itself is such a marathon.

Isn't it 26.2 hours long? I remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid. It was spread out over several nights I believe with all the commercials. I remember the set pieces being spectacular as I was always fascinated with Egypt. Also even as a very young kid I can remember appreciating how beautiful Liz Taylor was. WOW. Woke up those prepubescent hormones.

251 minutes actually ;)

the hidef transfer though is outright amazing - the detail of the costumes is astounding!

Yeah, Cleopatra, as a movie, is a bit of a stinker; overlong and pretty boring (though amazing looking throughout, which is what makes the blu-ray so great), but that documentary is really fascinating, one of the best docs about a movie out there and much better than the actual movie, and worth the price of the blu-ray alone. The package works better if you treat the documentary as the main feature and the movie as an extra to see what the documentary is talking about.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters...exceedingly bad.
Snitch...not too good.
