The Killing I loved watching this film. This was an excellent film noir that was vastly better the second time. Great soundtrack too as it adds to the suspense.

I wish someone would release a BD of The Asphalt Jungle soon.

Watched Fast Five last night. Insane audio on that flick. The PQ was okay. I forgot how crappy the lighting was in several parts of that movie. It's insanely fun and managed to dethrone 2 Fast 2 Furious as my favourite in the franchise so I can't wait to purchase it on Tuesday.

I watched the unrated cut to check out the sole added scene. Ended up realizing that, much like Taken, the unrated cut is the version that was released theatrically here in Puerto Rico.

Resident Evil Afterlife Actually had the chance to see something during the week for a change and Ali Larter is as good as anyone to check out.

Just rented Transformers: Dark of the Moon on BD. It looks and sounds beautiful. However, it does confirm what I suspected both times I saw it in theaters. The bulk of the film was shot in 35mm and converted to 3D in post with only a scant few sequences actually shot in 3D. That explains why there was no real depth at all (when I saw it at the theater) except for the prologue and portions of the Chicago finale (particularly the wonderful wingsuit sequence).
