Sharktopus - This was either the greatest thing I've ever seen, or the worst movie ever made... still not sure. I can say that, for a "D" film, it's sure got "A"-level entertainment. Corman still knows how to keep you glued to the screen all these years later. PQ, much like the film, was abominable. AQ fared slightly better.

TRON - Outstanding on Blu.

Walkabout - Finally finished the second half after getting my replacement from Criterion. Great film. The PQ is excellent.

Unstoppable - I thought this would be terrible, but Denzel is so goddamn likeable that I found myself sucked in real quick. There's not much to the story, but it's a fun, solid thriller.

Secretariat Decent movie but a little too Disney. Greatest Game Ever Played was a better movie but this was certainly worth a rental

The Takers still watching but PQ and AQ are as good as you'd expect from a current movie

Oceans Eleven Just got back from a wedding reception where the couple got married last week in Vegas. Looking at their pictures from the Bellagio got me Jonesing for some vegas so I fired up the HD DVD player

Mortal Kombat - One of my favorite movies, but damn, the audio on this seemed terrible to me. Damn near everything seemed extremely quiet, until there was a fight scene or music, then I got blasted with sound. Great otherwise though.

Looks amazing.

TRON: Legacy - Reference quality PQ and AQ. This movie looks gorgeous on BD. And I like it more each time I watch it.

'Die Hard: Live Free or Die Hard'

Apollo 13 Love this HD DVD. I was a kid when all this stuff happened but I remember it like yesterday. I've seen this movie a hundred times but I still get all choked up throughout this movie. I'm just getting to be a bigger pussy as I grow older

Armageddon Went from the real to the absurd.

A Perfect Getaway (2009) - Pretty good, gets a little far fetched toward the end, but still enjoyable.

Date Night picked it up recently used. I know it's a marginal movie but I'd watch Tina Fey read a toothpaste label

Hard-Boiled

It was really well-done, with some great production-design, acting and directing.
The blu-ray also looked fantastic. But the story and characters just kinda left me cold.
