Whip It - A great job by Barrymore. I loathe Page & the movie would have been better without her, but its a fun film none the less. Kind of wish it was set in the 70s/80s or whenever roller derby took place though, but I guess there are actually places like this. I'm a NYC guy so the culture was pretty weird to me.

World Trade Center I always thought the dialogue was needlessly heavy handed considering the already emotional source material but I watch this every Sept 11.

It's actually gaining a fair amount of popularity right now.

I think you should substitute WTC for United 93 next September 11th.

I watched United 93 and felt it was superior film. It was so realistic it made me tear up many times. In fact I actually watched the extras which I rarely do. The parts where the actors were meeting the families of the deceased they were to be playing was heart wrenching. I just don't own that film.

WTC is a decent movie about an important event in history but it felt like Stone had to manipulate you. The feelings in United 93 came more naturally. United 93 is a better movie by far.

Cop Out - I actually liked this more at home, though it does fizzle toward the end. The Blu-ray, with it's Maximum Comedy Mode, is great. Some of the improvisation, especially from Tracy Morgan, is 10x better than what's in the movie. And Kevin Smith really is funny throughout.

MacGruber - Eh.

Jumper - Hated this in the theater but I actually enjoyed it this time. Great extras too, especially the documentary detailing director Doug Liman's crazy shooting style.

Ghost Writer - Excellent movie, good transfer and well done abet short extras.

No difference other than the box art & the re-release just comes with the DVD as well.

Finished off Rome: S1 at my friend's house. Damn great show; I'm pumped to delve into S2, but it sucks there's no more after that.

Redbelt - Great movie. I was glad the movie just didn't string fight scene after fight scene together. There was a lot of emotional depth to this movie, you see the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Excellent PQ!
