It's a bit frustrating that Best Buy is apparently sending these flyers to all reward card holders even if their local store doesn't have a Magnolia demo available. Thanks for waving free money in my face, BB, and then telling me I can't have it.

Just go there at a different time when the anal employee isn't working. I got 1 coupon each from 2 different best buys and I just asked for it. They didn't even demo any movies for me. I didn't buy anything because I was looking for Casino Royale and neither stores had it. I might just buy Cloverfield next week since it'll be on sale for $20.

For some reason I usually get my reward zone coupons late. Haven't had a flyer in the mail but may just go to the local Magnolia.

It's amusing to think of how irritated these salespeople are going to be over the next 10 days, doing demos for people that have no intention of buying anything and just hitting them up for a coupon when it's over with.

That being said, I'll be going in every day that the promotion is on.

The guy who did my demo said, "So, you're here for the coupon, right?" I said that I was, that I had already bought into Blu-ray, no selling needed. I asked if a lot of people had done the demo, and he said I was the first. He played me two minutes of Transformers and said, "That's it!" Gave me the coupon and that was that. It was on a 120hz screen with the smooth motion turned on and it looked like it was being sped up. Awful.

I'm just going to tell my GF to wear a low-cut top and ask for some coupons nicely as she bends over to get something from her purse. That way I can get the Bond Steelbooks cheap!

I went today and they had no information about this. One person mentioned that he had heard about the promotion but that was it. They just let me pick out a Blu-Ray and took 10 dollars off. I grabbed Incredbile Hulk and was out the door.

I can't wait to go back later in the week, this is a killer deal.
For the girl or the coupon?

Maybe I didn't word it properly. Our Best Buy doesn't have a demo room, this wouldn't be one of the participating locations mentioned on the flyer. Seems unlikely the store would have coupons on hand if there's no demo to sit through in order to "qualify" for the $10 off. Otherwise they could just toss the coupons into the Blu-ray section so anyone could have them...

Got a soft sell for about 10 minutes, the coupon, Incredible Hulk and a complimentary vitamin water. All is well in the world.

Thanks for getting the word out on the coupon.

I still don't see where the store locator says if it has magnolia. I tried a few different zip codes between OH and PA and don't see anything. someone that has the promotion at their store mind sharing their zip so I can see if I'm just missing it or if there really are no stores in either of these states with it.

The BB Arrowhead(83rd ave/Bell rd) said they were only doing the demo/coupon on Sunday's. Didn't challenge him since my kids were bugging me to go.

There's a logo (or series of logos -- based on the particular store's offerings)that shows up just below the address. I think most -- if not all -- of the Best Buy's have "Geek Squad", so where you see that logo? that's where the "Magnolia Home Theater" logo will show up. Or not. Mostly not, because there aren't very many.

I saw the logos the other day, but now I can't remember how to get back to the screen that showed all of them.
