A Question About Sony Player BD-350

I have the aforementioned player. My question is I'm watching a non-anamorphic movie on the player, but it keeps on changing the image to fit the screen, making it have a weird warp effect on the edges of the screen. So everytime the camera moves it's got this weird fish bowl feeling to it.

How the hell do I get that to stop and just so up non-anamorphic, I'd rather just use the zoom button on my TV than have the DVD player just make it look like it's anamorphic. It's irritating.

I just turn off the upconversion on my PS3 and just use the zoom feature. It usually works fine in most cases.

I didn't see an upconversion option in the video settings.

I believe you go into Video Settings on the player, and under 'Screen Format' change it to 'Fixed Aspect Ratio'. This will not resize anything to fill the screen.

I haven't tested this myself (just got my player last night) but I read that on another forum recently..

I thought that too, but it doesn't work.
