I'll be picking this up today. Does anyone know how much it is at Fry's? I checked the bargains section for Fry's, but it's not listed.

From Deep Discount:

Hellboy II: The Golden Army [Blu-ray Disc] (collector's set)

There is a problem with what was submitted:

1. This item is no longer available.
What the heck is up with this?? I've been waiting for today to use the discount code, and this is what I get when I try to add the item to my cart. Anyone have any luck buying this on DD?

The lenticular cover is indeed super cool but the fucking digital copy sticker left so much residue on my case I'm pretty pissed...not the good kind of sticker (like say the ones on Clone Wars lenticular that I peeled off no problem)... time for some goo gone I guess.

I have goo gone as well and my sticker left residue also. But I used the back of the sticker to remove it. That works often. You should try that next time.

^That's what I usually do, but this sticker was such low quality, there wasn't any usable sticker back left after I took it off... it came off in small bits only!

My order from DVD Planet this morning resulted in the same email that DDD is sending out... out of stock. Methinks someone did not make as many special sets as they should've.

I went to Wal-mart to check it out in person, and I'm not impressed. I really don't think it's worth the extra money for a cheap plastic, light-up thingy. I'll go for the normal BD set.

And by the way, what's with Wal-mart having a cool belt buckle exclusive with the FULL FRAME DVD only?? I would by it right now from WM if I could get that cool belt buckle...

I'm a little confused. I just read the blu ray review on the site and it mentions 2 discs, with the 2 hr documentary on the second disc. Mine is only 1 disc (not including the digital copy) makes no mention of 2 discs on the packaging, but apparently still contains the documentary (I haven't had a chance to pop in the disc yet). Anyone know what's up? I'm in Canada, by the way.

The US version has a 2nd disc labeled "Bonus Features". This is a dvd that contains all of the standard def features, including the documentary, and the digital copy.

^No, it's the same as US. 2 discs, on BD with the movie and most features, a second DVD disc with the 2 hour doc and digital copy... I was searching the BD for the documentary and thought 'holy shit these extras are fucking LIGHT', but then realized the doc was on the digital copy disc - DOH!

Did you actually OPEN your disc? The outside doesn't mention '2 disc' or anything, but it's there on the left under the inserts.

Ridiculous. You'd never know it. It onyl has "Digital Copy Disc" written on it and no artwork or anything to suggest it might have something other than the digital copy on it.

It is lame that they put the documentary on the digital copy disc.

Mine (non-special edition) doesn't say "Digital Copy Disc" on the 2nd disc, it says "Bonus Features".

Seriously, what numbskull thought it was a great idea to put the documentary on the digital copy disc?

Mine also says "bonus features" and has disc art, so I see no issue with this.

I was so upset that Deepdiscount discontinued their sales for Hellboy LE set thus it wasnt included with their 25% off deal which supposedly give me a final cost of the set for $36

I got it at a better deal with FYE.

Here is the rundown

1. Buy a $40 gift card and you will receive a $10 off coupon (expires on Nov. 26)

2. I purchase Bluray Hellboy LE and the breakdown of the cost are as follows:

FYE selling it for = $49.99
Less BSP 10% discount = -$5.00
Less $10 off coupon = -$10.00
---------------------------------------------
Subtotal = $34.99
Tax = +$2.89
Less $10 FYE Mail-In Hellboy Rebate = -$10.00
----------------------------------------------
Total: $27.88

Every slip has that...unless Target's is different in some way.

I think it's perfectally fine. They needed to add a bonus DVD anyway, due to the useless Digital Copy, and what would be the point of adding a BD-25 just to house a 2 hr. 30 min. documentary that's presented in Standard Definition anyway?

The transfer itself is impeccable (so much so that it makes the make-up look like they threw it on 14 minutes before Del Toro yelled "Action"), so If adding it to the first disk would've caused to it to suffer, I'm all for the way they did it.

Now, the Comic Book builder. I don't know what numbskull thought that would be a great idea.

Well, you're lucky. Mine doesn't say 'bonus features' anywhere on it.
