Sounds like all the DVD extras are there, right down to the Comedy Central special. I just hope they put the first Austin Powers is in the original theatrical aspect ratio and not that 2.00:1 change on the DVD.

I somewhat doubt this release will have DTS sound since it's a now a Warner release.

I'm not really a fan of these films, but I welcome them coming out on Blu-ray. These movies finding their way onto Blu gives me more confidence that we will be seeing some more good catalog releases.

Any details on which extras are HD? In addition to the lack of DTS, I have a sneaking suspicion that the extras will simply be ported SD footage.

Its Warner - I doubt any of the special features will be in HD.

I'll get at least the first one, all three if the bundle is cheap enough.

I agree completely. I'll pass on the third one but get the first two if the price is right. I can't really see myself wanting these films for more than $10 each though.

Warner likes the bundle films (Oceans Trilogy, Matrix) so I wouldn't expect them to be sold individually for at least 6 months after they come out. Sony still has yet to sell Spider-man 1 and 2 by themselves. Grr.

See, I love the first, hated the second, and enjoyed the third.

I liked all three enough. This is a set I would want. Hopefully some good sales start happening by the end of the year.

I thought the first one was pretty good, the second one is very uneven as the Austin Powers scenes get old, but the Dr. Evil & Minnie Me scenes are hysterical. Plus the Jerry Springer scene where Dr. Evil goes apeshit is classic. The third is terrible, as you just see the series getting tired at that point. I'll probably take a pass on these movies as they are better watched on TBS when I can catch the funny parts of the movies, but any good catalog release on BluRay is fine with me.

I like them all, but think the 3rd is the funniest (took a few viewings though). The 1st may be the best movie of them all, but IMO is the least funny (no Mini-Me + Dr. Evil not as funny as in the other 2). Definitely in for the set.

I only really want the first one, maybe the second, if just for the Jerry Springer scene (a reason why I probably saw it 3 times in theaters).

Same here, though I tolerate part 2. Heather Graham ruined it with some truly horrific acting. She and Myers had 0 chemistry. And there were too many dead jokes and Fat Bastard wasn't a favorite of mine.

Having said that, I will buy the box set because I gotta have 1 and 3.

Another vote #1 and #3. Hated the second but the third was just so far out there that i liked it WAY more than the second. I laughed my ass off at the prison rap video stuff.

I'm with you guys. The second one is terrible. Other than the Jerry Springer scene, I don't think I laughed once the entire movie. The third was a huge improvement (though still not as good as the first, obviously).

I'm another one in this group. The first one's great, the second one may have been the worst movie I saw that year(and yes, I sat through Wild Wild Worst), and the third one was somewhat of a return to form.

I liked the second the best, because of the Dr. Evil scenes. I hated the third one.

I like 1 & 3 because I was a high schooler when the second one came out and I hadn't seen the first one at that point, but I got to hear the whole movie basically through Bad-Impression-o-Rama and by the time I actually got to see the film, it was already familiar to me.

I thought the third had more than its share of agreeably goofy jokes, even if a lot of them were continuations of jokes in the previous two. But I have no interest in seeing a fourth one.

These movies are some of my favorites, but I can't get that excited knowing that Warner is handling New Line's discs now. I'll forever covet my Pan's Labyrinth disc due to that very fact...
