Well, I think you'd agree your collection is a little unorthodox, right? It's only natural to get some questions on it. I have to say I don't quite get it myself, but I appreciate seeing the different setups, even if it's not something I would do.

You know you can still watch em on a regular tv, that's what I did for a few months. No harm in it (though some shame...lol). Good start on the collection.

I've got 148 blu's, have been collecting since Black Friday 2009 when I got my first blu ray player.

Those empty BR cases at the bottom, is that so you can throw away echo cases?

yes, exactly. All my dvd's and blu rays have been opened and watched multiple times... I have been collecting dvd's for years and only amassed a little over 200 of my favorite titles. Now I have a blu ray player but I am only buying new releases I like, or favorites that I had never gotten on dvd.
