Mrs. Doubtfire Blu-Ray Problems

Has anyone had trouble playing this disc? I am using the Samsung P1400 player and the disc will just hang after it shows the commentary disclaimer. I never get to the menu to start playing the movie. I tried to solve the problem by upgrading the firmware on my player and getting a different copy from Netflix, but I still have the same problem. Anybody else have this problem?

Samsung BD players have a history of not liking newer Fox BD's. I don't know how old the last firmware update is for the 1400, but I'm guessing it's from before Doubtfire was released.

I think the best thing you can do is report it to Samsung and hope they bother to update firmware for it. It probably hasn't come up too much since I would guess the number of people who bought/rented the disc and use a 1400 is not very large.

Worked fine in my Panasonic DMP-BD10A last night. This was a title I had been anxious to watch too.
