TWBB Transfer problem?

I think I remember TWBB being like this, but on the scenes after the oil derrick catches fire, there is an orange hue on the outside of the picture, and I believe there is also one or two scenes where the orange hue creates an oval-like picture (I believe this is when Plainview watches the derrick burn).

Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is part of the way PTA shot it, but is this 'orange glow' thing found on the transfer, and it is not a defective disc? Just wanted to double-check.

Thanks!
-Stephen

Anyone? Im pretty sure PTA meant for it, but I'd love if someone else could report how their disc looked.

It typically helps to post timecode when asking for feedback on a specific scene.

I think this was in the print when I saw it theatrically but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't have access to the timecode right now, but it is exactly after the derrick catches fire, and Plainview watches it burn before him. Theres only a window of a minute or two, so it should be pretty easy to spot. If anyone happens to notice it, just let me know. I'm pretty sure its on the print.

Its just a lens flare. Given its a pretty big one but the fire is also quite large.

It's supposed to be that way. I downloaded the movie and watched it and it was the same way. It's pretty obvious that it's supposed to be intentional.

What about those lines on Saving Private Ryan? Is my disk defective?

Well, I assumed it was such, just didn't quite understand it I guess. I appreciate the help.
