Questions About Mission Impossible I-III BD Released 6/3/08

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread...

Amazon shows these movies being released on BD on 6/3/08. These movies were released on BD a long time ago. Is Amazon offering new versions? Anyone know what the differences are? Amazon's technical specs never seem accurate when it comes to soundtracks, so I don't go by their descriptions.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe they are the same.

AFAIK, they're just re-releases with the exact same packaging, extras, etc.

They were originally discontinued when Paramount went HD-only and have since been re-released to most outlets, but Amazon apparently had the street-dates wrong, which is a common problem they've had with most Paramount Blu-Ray releases lately.

Ex- They had Cloverfield and There Will Be Blood listed as coming out two weeks ago instead of today, which was the correct street date.

I think they are the same. I looked at them at Costco the other day, and they seemed to have all the same things on them as my original copies. I don't think that Paramount would go to any great lengths to touch up discs they've already released on Blu-ray. Why bother? (And remember this IS Paramount we're talking!)

100% identical to what was released before.
