There Will Be Blood BD- Reversible Sleeve

Any of you chaps that have ordered There Will Be Blood BD and thought the artwork was a bit 'meh', will be pleased to hear that it has a reversible sleeve which contains the same art as the R1 single disc DVD. It's went from 'meh' to sexy in a single flip of the sleeve for me. Oh yes, it's a sexy blighter now, LOL!

I noticed that too....I'll stick to the new BD art though. At least its not in a stupid cardboard case like the DVD versions, ugh.

You'll need someone to with a decent camera to do pics. I've also lost the stupid lead for connecting it to my computer. Here's a rough idea, though. Without the credits at the bottom, obviously:

Why do people get so hung up on cover art? As long as the transfer itself looks good I don't care what the cover looks like.

Uh, that poster is horrible. I was under the impression the reverse cover was the bible artwork.

While I'd prefer the Bible artwork, I'm still glad for the alternative. The official artwork for the BD sucks mighty hard.

I LOVE the artwork! I'm so glad they used it for the BR release. I own the style C poster which is similar to the BR artwork and consider it one of my favorites.

Rebel, is that a scan of the reversed cover, or did you make that one up yourself?

I got this yesterday and I'm sticking with the original art. In my opinion, the original artwork boasts the great cinematography while the reverse artwork gives you a hint about Day Lewis' performance. Both Oscar winning in their own right.

It is worth noting that the actual cover isn't as bad as the one we've seen. Actual cover art on the left below:

I absolutely HATE the R1 Cover Art and was so happy they changed it for the BD. To each his own, I guess.

It would have been AWESOME to have in a book-like case (like B&C WB disc) with the cover that applesandrice made.

I like the U.S. version's artwork (both versions of it) way more than that cover.
