Ironically enough, (all you with ears, HEAR) the only discs my Toshiba HD DVD player could not play successfully were ............... HD DVD's!!!!

And from scanning Blu-Ray feedback, the same seems true for Blu-Ray players. What kind of scam has been perpetrated ?? I need my money for groceries and gas, not for exploding car movies which the players can't even show exploding.
