I know it's posted in the Bargains forum, but that's a fantastic price for a TV set...wanted to bring some attention to it. Pretty good show.

Yeah. Sorry - should have included that little tidbit. Can a mod edit to reflect?

I hope amazon will honor the price... doubtful that they will considering they can always use the excuse that the show hasn't been announced yet.

Well, it's only 8 episodes so it could be correct.

I watched this one all the way through and liked it OK, but I just can't decide whether I liked it enough to actually buy it. The set is a nice price, though.

8 episodes = 2 discs? Should be a great set. Looking forward to this one.

$30 is totally worth it (damn WA state tax).

I can't wait to see Glau in some HD!

Wow, not bad... i think the price is correct since there aren't that many episodes. I think the show is okay until they dancing around time traveling too much (don't you hate it the ultimate ending is like a looper?).

I may have to buy it just to encourage more TV on BD.

Thanks.

Hooray! I missed everything after the 2nd episode due to OTA HDTV issues. Now I can watch it is 1080i on HDM (as he's putting title in Netflix queue)!

I only saw tidbits of the show, but as I'm honor bound to support anything that has a cast member of Serenity or Arrested Development, I've pre-ordered the set.

The price has got to be wrong - that is the same retail as barbones catalog titles - FOX will want at least 59.99 MSRP on this.

I totally understand that blu-ray discs are more expensive to produce than SD's, but I think that if more studios produced blu-rays close-to the price of the SD's more people would buy them. Like I still buy a lot of SD's when there is a blu-ray just because of the $10 price difference (or 30-40 with TV Sets). But if it was only $5ish more for movies or 10/15 for the TV I would get the blu....

Warner is releasing it which explains the reasonable MSRP.

Oops, sorry - just made a connection with Fox since that is where it airs - my bad.

The price may be right, still seems a little low.
