It should. I would imagine they would just port over the exact same codec which was on HD DVD and just add the lossless track.

i'm afraid to ask this for fear of scorn...but can somebody explain what the big deal is with "lossless" audio? I just don't understand all the different terms for various systems.

With lossless audio, you can have the same quality as the original audio master. Lossy audio discards parts of the audio without degrading it too much. Think a song on CD (lossless) vs the same song on MP3 (lossy).

The theatrical cut is Ridley Scott's director's cut. The extended version is just a marketing gimmick. The studio didn't even bother to properly color time the new scenes before slapping them in.

Also, the theatrical cut captivated me already and didn't have me look at my cell phone.
