All I can offer is that the site is from France, and the date in France right now is...

Oh yeah...April Fools. 2 More minutes and I will start my "Fox Blu-ray releases now have ALL bonus features like their 10 year old DVD counterparts!!!!!!! And now only $29.95!!!!!!! MSRP!"

The ThinkGeek ones are simply the best. Outstanding.

RoboDad 04-01-08 01:46 PM

rotfl

ThinkGeek :rock2:

I love the "features" of that deck:

# One button transfer between Betamax and HD-DVD
# Play and Record both Super and regular BetaMax
# Blah, blah, blah
# Uses electricity
# Has a manual
# Something else
# Frakkin' sweet remote
# You aren't even reading this

More thinkgeek fun:

...better suited for the vid game forum, but what the heck.

It was late last night when I posted-- blame it on the hour (and it was still 3/31 in my time zone!). :)

How about BD+1, which requires tiny cameras in players with internet and database connections to determine if the person watching the film is the one who purchased it, or is at least authorized to view it?
