Just don't joke that a certain film gets a release date. Serious bodily harm. Serious.

ThinkGeek

I love the "features" of that deck:

# One button transfer between Betamax and HD-DVD
# Play and Record both Super and regular BetaMax
# Blah, blah, blah
# Uses electricity
# Has a manual
# Something else
# Frakkin' sweet remote
# You aren't even reading this

It was late last night when I posted-- blame it on the hour (and it was still 3/31 in my time zone!).

How about BD+1, which requires tiny cameras in players with internet and database connections to determine if the person watching the film is the one who purchased it, or is at least authorized to view it?
