and I'm in AV heaven right now
. About the only movie that would make me even consider a BD player right now would be Lord of The Rings Trilogy DTS HD/MA
. Now that I would really be hard pressed not to consider it! That's about the only Movie(s) I would need to buy at these prices
. I don't think that is coming out anytime soon though

I have the limited edition on the way. Warner has really annoyed me with how much they have left out compared to the DVD. There suppose to be the leading studio when it comes to Blu-Ray support i hope they make up for it with the dark knight Blu-Ray.
Better to chop some stuff off the DVD which will be in the sales come jan and making little money for Warner.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
I was planning on getting the Limited Edition but now I think i'll just get the normal. I used to love getting all these lobby cards and comic books, but every single one ends up getting looked at once then forgotten about.
Does the prologue come with the Limited Edition only?

For those who owned the HD DVD, the Blu-ray is essentially a carbon copy of that, aside from the fact that the Blu-ray has the IMAX prologue as well. The picture-in-picture commentary is identical to the HD DVD one. Other than the prologue (which is 1080p), ALL bonus features are in standard def - including (sadly) the original trailer for Batman Begins.

Actually the trailer was upscaled to 1080p on the HD DVD. It just seems the 480p video isn't upscaled on the Blu-Ray.

I was able to find Batman Begins at BJ's for $18.99 today. Most of the blu-rays there are seems overpriced at least for a wholesale club at $27.99. But pleasantly surpised to get Batman. SO chalk BJ's up along with Blockbuster breaking the street date.

Anyone know if the Collectors edition will be normal DVD sized box like Dirty Harry was? It looks just like the DVD collection. I hate the way the Dirty Harry collection looks with all my Blu-rays

so the movie ticket is only available with the limited edition - right? I hope AMC theatres are included because of the last two movie tickets I've bought from Disney titles (Prince Caspian/Wall-E) they do not include AMC theatres.
oh and more importantly will the tix be good for the IMAX engagements?

I don't understand why any theater would not accept the movie money tickets. They get re-imbursed by the studio.

Mine shipped today, preordered it last week...
I'm hoping the hollywood movie money is good at the local Regal IMAX (Mall of GA) so I can see TDK that weekend for a little less rather than $15. (I think it does, the Regal IMAX is inside Regal Mall of GA, so I assume it would work. Guess I'll have to wait and see...
