Weeds Season 3 ----> June 3rd

http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/Weeds-S...VD-Bluray/9147

This morning Lionsgate has announced the release of Weeds - Season 3, coming to home video on June 3rd for both DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The award-winning series will be presented in both formats with video in Anamorphic Widescreen, English Dolby audio (5.1 and 2.0 on the DVD, and for the Blu-ray the audio formats will be 7.1 PCM and 5.1), plus subtitles in English and Spanish, and closed captioning for the hearing impaired.

Cost is said to be $39.98 SRP for both the DVD and the Blu-ray Disc versions (which is how the second season was handled). Running time is 330 minutes for 15 episodes. There will also be a ton of extras on board these releases, including Commentary Tracks, and featurettes such as "Good Morning, Agrestic!" and loads more. Expect a full list of the bonus material in the near future, and cover art for both versions, once Lionsgate finalizes everything. Stay tuned for further updates!
Blu-ray version also comes with an exclusive java game.

Can't wait! Lionsgate has handled Weeds on Blu-ray superb so far. Season 1 was in Widescreen (like it should have been) while the DVD was not. Season 2 was day and date with similar pricing, and now they continue that trend with charging the same price as the DVD! Other studios should really take a look at Lionsgate to see how to properly make and sell TV on HDM.

Yeah, I'll go ahead and get it because I want to complete the show, but this season was lackluster. Hopefully there will be a sale.

Don't have Showtime but I've loved the show from Netflix. I think I'll be getting this.

Finally... Thanks for posting this. I just got my Blu-Ray player a couple weeks ago and Have been watching this since the first episode on normal Non-HD cable. Weeds and Dexter is the only reason why I kept Showtime... Hell its the reason why I kept my Cable service

I still need to pick up the first 2 seasons but the 3rd will be a must, considering its the episodes my friends havent seen yet.

I agree that Season 3 pretty much licked nads, but I'll get it for sure, just because I have the others!

Excellent Cover....great show, although I will agree that Season 3 was lacking. Is the show done now? Will there be another season?

Why did the third season have to be so poor?

Season Four in June? I'm excited. Cautious, but still excited.

The third season had its moments. I liked Matthew Modine in it. On the whole, though, it was nowhere (nowhere) near the quality of the first two seasons.

I've heard that from various sources. Too bad as S1 & 2 were just amazing. Guess I'll just Netflix this season too.

My problem was mostly that it felt like a bad cartoon with "Bad Guy of the Week" plots. She got in and out of fucking insane situations on a per day basis like a goofy sitcom. Once [early season spoiler] happened, there was no thread through the rest for the season.

In agreement about how disappointing season 3 was in regards to the other seasons... although I still picture MLP's fresh from the rain strip tease/seduction of Matthew Modine's character... I thought she was hot and Ive never been a fan of hers

The ending of Season 2 held so much promise... the ending of 3... ll watch the new season but Im not dying to see it the way I would CYE or Dexter
